Where it all Began…
I have always loved movies. Growing up as a kid I used to sit and watch movies with my family literally all the time! I thought I just wanted to be a film maker. But, my Sophomore year of high-school I applied to be on the yearbook staff. Due to a mix up in scheduling I was put in Journalism aka Newspaper by mistake.
But I have always been a firm believer everything happens for a reason so I decided to stay in the class. And I’m so glad I did, my teacher, Mr. Knight, is the reason I discovered my true passion for photography in the first place. Without his encouragement to become a photographer for the paper, I may have never picked up that camera and known the talent that was inside me. It’s nice to have two passions that work hand-in-hand, photography and filmmaking!

Who is Amber?
Hello! My name is Amber! I was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. So I’m no stranger to sunny days and relaxing by the pool. I moved away to GA to go to SCAD for my Photo Degree! But now I’m back home, couldn’t stay away from the beach for too long!
Just a little bit about me…I have a huge sweet tooth, I love to cook, I love to paint, my favorite color is yellow and my birthday is in May! The 3 most important things in my life are God, my family and my amazing friends, who God has put in my life to support me and my dream!
I love photography and the ability it gives me to tell peoples’ stories. From that first click of the shutter button, photography has had my heart. I’ve always enjoyed making people laugh and smile. Photography allows me to not only express my creativity but, also put a smile on my client’s faces and help their true personality shine through.
This world can be so dark sometimes; it’s not bad to bring in a little light. So I’ve made it my goal in life, to try to brighten at least one person’s day someway, somehow each and every day.
With that being said, I mostly love portrait photography. Even though, I have experience with landscape, food and commercial photography, I feel like the depths of someone personality make for a more compelling story. I love capturing the candid moments, whether it be, good times with your loved ones or senior pictures to pictures of just YOU being YOU! Ultimately, my photography is all about YOU! Who you are.
